Deposits and Payment Schedules

Deposit: 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure air and land travel 

Second Payment: 30% of package price, 180 days before departure

Final Payment: Balance (40% of package price) due 90 days before departure

If paying by credit card a 3% transaction fee will be included. In addition, the second deposit and final payment will be charged to the same credit card given for the first deposit unless Inspired Sojourns is notified of changes in writing at least seven days prior to the payment due date.

Quality Guarantee

Inspired Sojourn offers the best Accommodations, tours, transportation and service. We reserve the right to make changes to any accommodation, tour, transportation or service in our itineraries. However, should Inspired Sojourn need to substitute any accommodation, tour, transportation or service, we will endeavor to provide you with a comparable alternative in time, price and quality.

Rate Guarantee

Tour prices are guaranteed once Inspired Sojourns receives your first deposit. However, in the unlikely event of a substantial increase in operating costs, fuel costs, tariffs or taxes prior to the vacation, we reserve the right to add a surcharge, not to exceed 3% of the land cost per person. All assessed government or quasi-government fees and taxes are subject to change without notice at any time, and we reserve the right to add a surcharge for these fees and taxes whether you have a confirmed booking under deposit or have made final payment.

Cancelation Policy

If you cancel your reservation or re-book to a different trip, refunds of the total package price will be subject to a cancellation charge according to the following schedule:

More than 180 days before departure = Deposit is non-refundable 
180 to 121 days before departure = 50% of total package price
120 or less days before departure = 100% of total package price

Travel Insurance

We offer, and strongly recommend, purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your vacation investment before and during your trip. Most policies offer a waiver of all pre-existing medical conditions, and cover most unexpected occurrences such as illness or injury to you or a traveling companion or immediate family member (including domestic partners), jury duty, job layoff or job termination. Inspired Sojourn Concerige

A U.S. based Inspired Sojourn Concierge will accompany all Flagship and Heroic Sojourns that meets minimum guest participation. Alternatively, sojourns are hosted by our excellently trained, vetted and locally based Inspired Sojourn Concierge Guides.

Name Change On Sojourn 

Inspired Sojourn packages may be transferred to another guest. In rare occasions there may be a service fee, but this is unlikely. Airline tickets may not be transferred due to the carrier’s restrictions beyond Inspired Sojourn’s control.

Passports and Visas

While Inspired Sojourns will assist when possible, please note that passport, visa, and vaccination requirements vary from country to country, and are the sole responsibility of the traveler. Generally speaking, your valid passport should have at least two blank pages and should be valid for at least six months after your planned departure from the country you are visiting. Passport and visa requirements can change at any time, and travelers should always check their country-specific requirements for traveling abroad.

All prices quoted are in United States dollars (USD).


Should any government charges change between now and the time of travel we reserve the right to adjust the package accordingly.

General Disclaimer

In all matters relating to the making of arrangements for hotel and/or motel accommodations, sightseeing tours and services provided incidental thereto, entertainment, and transportation by air, railroad, motor bus, automobile, or steamship, INSPIRED SOJOURNS and its subsidiaries act only in the capacity of an agent for the airlines, hotels/motels, and other suppliers stated in the tour literature describing the services purchased. 

Because of its status as an agent, and because it maintains no control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of these travel suppliers, INSPIRED SOJOURNS and its subsidiaries assume no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, property damage or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of (1) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the suppliers, (2) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any employee of any of these suppliers, (3) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrument owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers, or (4) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under the supervision and control, direct or otherwise, of INSPIRED SOJOURNS. 

INSPIRED SOJOURNS may not be held responsible should the travelers disliked the country, places, the food and the climate while traveling on pre- customized tours. For all of our escorted tours, our travelers are briefed prior to departure. Should the traveler disagree with one or many options/activities on the trip, INSPIRED SOJOURNS will accept comments and remarks and do its best to accommodate the traveler to make the vacation as enjoyable as possible. 

INSPIRED SOJOURNS, for all tours and packages involving villa or apartment rentals, will hold the travelers and renters responsible for any damages that incurred during their stay up to a reasonable point. The traveler will be able to request repair/replacement invoices and dispute any abusive charges as long as a counter-expertise is requested and paid for by the traveler. INSPIRED SOJOURNS will debit the traveler’s card on file and hold funds until the dispute has been being resolved. For cash paying customers, an invoice will be mailed with payment due within 30 days of receipt. Failure to dispute or comply may result in legal challenges, including finance charges of 25% APR.
